Our classic Sacred Valley tour visits stunning archeological sites and immerses travelers in the culture of Cusco and the Sacred Valley. With our expert bilingual guide, we will travel to Machu Picchu and take in all of the sights of Peru’s greatest civilization. As you begin exploring, you will quickly see that the Incan heartland harbors more than ruins as our guide directs you to the best marketplaces, eateries, and local projects where indigenous traditions are alive and well. With your perspective enriched, you will travel by train into the Andean cloud forest for your grand entrance to the “Lost City” of the Incas. Finally you will return to Cusco for one last day and celebratory farewell dinner.

Upon arrival to Lima we will be greeted and transferred to the hotel. Accommodation followed by a short briefing about next day activities.

Early morning after breakfast private transfer from your hotel to the airport flight to Cusco. Arrival in Cusco private transfer to your hotel and immediately beginning the City tour. Walking tour to visit Plaza de Armas and the Koricancha temple. Afterwards transport to Sacsayhuaman where our to visit the nearby Inca remains of Cusco starts: Sacsayhuaman, Qenko, Tambomachay and Pucapucara. Transport back to Cusco for some rest.

In the morning we start with a tour visiting Chinchero. Afterwards we will go to Moray that is about 37 kms from Cusco and is a unique archaeological group of its kind. These are gigantic natural holes on the surface of the ground, which were used to build terraces or agricultural platforms with irrigation canals.

Towards the northwest of the town of Maras we will visit the famous Salineras known by some as “salt mines” that are constituted by 3000 small wells with an average area of about 5 m². During the dry season they are filled or “irrigated” every 3 days with salt water that emanated from a natural source located at the top of the wells so that, when the water evaporates, the salt contained in it gradually solidifies, we will continue our ride to Ollantaytambo.

Full day to visit Urubamba, the Inca’s Sacred Valley, and Pisac market(a great place for shopping) and Pisac ruins, some well-preserved euins of beautiful Inca buildings. Here we can observe an Inca tunel in the mountain and enjoy a great landscape. Later on, we visit the impressive fortress of Ollantaytambo and the village where people are still living in houses built 500 years ago during the Inca time. Overnight in Ollantaytambo.

After am early breakfast, we will go to Ollantaytambo’s train station and departure towards the village of Aguas. Upon arrival, we will take a public bus to the main entrance of Machu Picchu. After a guided tour in this impressive Inca city, we will take a bus back to Aguas Calientes. Overnight in Aguas Calientes.

In the morning, we will return to the ruins of Machu Picchu in order to visit the famous Huayna Picchu as well, this time. The ascension takes around 45-60 minutes depending on our physical conditions(300 meters of altitude gain). In the afternoon, we return to Aguas Calientes. From here we take our train to the town of Ollantaytambo from where by private transportation we travel back to Cusco. Arrival and transfer to the Hotel in Cusco.

Morning early transfer to the airport for the flight to Lima where we arrive on time to catch our international flight.
